Annuity is small:
$167 to $263 annually, depending on social security offset
Burial Insurance: Contact the VA for a burial insurance benefit
Nursing Home Payments: If I have to be put into a nursing home, the VA will partially pay for nursing home if assets have been reduced below a certain threshold by putting it all in a trust, as we set up for Dad. (But then he never lived long enough to be discharged from the hospital.)
VA Insurance: Until I turned 75, I had a small amount of Veterans Group Life Insurance (VGLI) but it became prohibitively expensive when older than 75 so I canceled it. (For the record, you can visit VA Insurance for life insurance benefit but that is unnecessary.)
